<p>hi, i read the crypto part, it not only a weak
encryption?<br>
i heard first ime about that Encryption library.</p>
<p>But 32 bytes pub keys are secure?</p>

<p>Tox uses something called elliptical curve
cryptography
(salsa20) using the peer reviewed NaCl library, in ECC
cryptography
key sizes are far smaller but just as hard to break
for less CPU
power over traditional keys like DES and RSA.</p>
<p>A single 256 bit curve25519 key (what Tox uses) is
harder to
break than a 3072 bit RSA key and far easier to deal
with.</p>
<p>Keep in mind that this form of cryptography is rather
recent and
isn't fully mainstream yet despite being supported in
tis/pgp.</p>
